About Me

I am a medical imaging physicist that dreams of a world free of cancer.
Athabasca Falls, Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada

Hi! I’m Carlos, a medical imaging physicist certified in nuclear medicine and based in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My work spans quantitative imaging with PET/CT and SPECT/CT, with a focus on using nuclear medicine to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment.

I like building tools, methods, and teams that help bring personalized medicine to life.

This space is a place for me to share ideas, side projects, and thoughts on imaging, AI, and everything in between.

TheranosticsBytes is a personal space to explore imaging science, technology, and code. While I plan to expand it over time, for now you'll find:

  • Tools I’ve built (like DecayLab)
  • Thoughts on medical imaging
  • Coding tips for image analysis
  • New research and ideas worth sharing

Thanks for visiting and feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate.
